Equitable and quality abortion care is within reach if policymakers are willing to look elsewhere for solutions.

My research challenges Global-North-centric and over-medicalized ideas about abortion. I have studied activists who assist people to have safe and autonomous self-managed abortions. I have also worked with NGOs to find better solutions to abortion pill supply and distribution. I live in Mexico City and work globally.

 My professional goals are to:

  • Create lasting and radical change in abortion access,

  • Disrupt power and challenge injustice,

  • Guarantee reproductive freedom and bodily autonomy for all.

My current and previous partners include The University of Exeter, Monash University, La Trobe University, Fòs Feminista, Women Help Women, and the MAMA network.

You can find my published research here, including articles in leading journals, including Signs: Journal of Women in Culture and Society, International Feminist Journal of Politics, and Culture, Health and Sexuality.

If you’re an advocate, researcher, journalist, or philanthropic partner interested in innovative change to abortion access,

I’d love to hear from you.
